In 2015 BOP built on its reputation as the UK’s leading consultancy focusing on culture and the creative industries, while extending its reach into new subject areas and new territories. 


Selected highlights include:


  • Important strategy and impact assessment projects across the UK for: the British Film Institute, Edinburgh Festivals, the Royal Opera House, BBC Wales, the Design Council, Creative Scotland

  • High-profile evaluation reports on: Arts Council England’s Catalyst Programme, the Cultural Programme of the Commonwealth Games, BFI Film Academy, Heritage Lottery Fund’s Major Grants Programme

  • Launch of the World Cities Culture Report 2015 – at the 4th World Cities Culture Summit which attracted delegates from 33 global cities

  • Planning an all-new Museum of London, the £56m overhaul of Paisley Museum, a new arts/enterprise hub on the Park Hill Estate, and two new national cultural facilities for Morocco

  • Launch of the first UK Cities Culture Report in conjunction with the Core Cities Group and Arts Council England

  • The first mapping study on Peru’s creative industries, including a Peru-UK knowledge exchange forum

  • A major project promoting UK/China cultural trade, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
