He is currently researching patterns in environmental sustainability across the arts and cultural sector of wider Europe for the British Council. Ollie is also part of the research team for BOP’s flagship interactive platform and index, BOP500 where his current responsibilities include sourcing tourist data across 500 world cities.
During his MSc, he developed advanced skills in qualitative research and ethics, and a dedication for Memory Studies and Decolonial Theory. This led to him to explore Bristolian decolonial heritage practices and the place-based stigma of St. Paul’s in his final research dissertation.
He holds a BA in Geography from the University of Sheffield and an MSc from the University of Bristol.
Ollie is an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in Sociology and Cultural Geography.
