She is currently the project lead for BOP500, BOP's flagship global index dedicated to cities, culture and the creative economy.
As Senior Consultant, she brings experience leading the delivery of the World Cities Culture Forum (2017-2021), including the launch of a leadership exchange programme, policy webinar series, summits research programme and reports. A core part of this work was the collection and analysis of cultural indicators across 40 world cities as part of its 2022 report. She also developed the framework for a Cultural Mapping programme across 8 partner cities.
She has experience in the public sector, working for the Culture and Creative Industries unit at the Mayor of London's Office and in the private sector from her roles at Frieze Art Fair and as Deputy Director of the London Design Biennale.
She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge in History and an MUP (Masters in Urban Planning) from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
Martha has over 15 years' experience working the culture and creative sector, with a particular focus on international cultural policy making, cultural events and planning.
