She has a background in capacity building and development in the cultural sector and a breadth of international experience.
Genevieve joined BOP as Relationship Manager for the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF), through which she managed government partnerships across a network of 40 of the world’s major cities, including London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Abu Dhabi and Lagos.
At BOP Genevieve has managed a range of research and strategy projects globally with clients including the British Council, Arts Council England and the Creative Industries Policies and Evidence Centre. She is currently managing BOP’s data partnership with UNESCO on their forthcoming ReShaping Policies for Creativity report.
Prior to this, Genevieve worked as a Programme Manager at the British Council, and for museums and galleries including the V&A and Guggenheim Museum, New York. As a freelancer she worked with an NGO to develop a capacity building programme for grassroots cultural organisations in the Global South.
Genevieve holds a BA in Modern History from Oxford University and MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art. And has participated in the EU’s Global Cultural Relations Programme, and OECD Summer Academy for Culture & Creative Industries and Local Development.
Genevieve is consultant with a specialisation in cultural policy including urban policy and international cultural relations.
