She has expertise in development economics and mixed-method research design and has been the lead project manager on large-scale projects for specialised cultural development agencies, charitable organisations, and government.
Yasmeen has led BOP's work on the cultural strategy for the Royal Commission for AlUla, as well as the development of cultural workforce strategies for a major cultural agency in the MENA region. Her other recent clients include UNESCO, and the BFI.
Prior to BOP, Yasmeen worked as a Researcher for The Centre for Media, Technology & Democracy - a think tank based in Montreal, Canada specialising in policy & research around the impact of technology on civic rights and freedoms.
She holds a MSc in Urban Economic Development from University College London (UCL) and a joint BA & BSc degree in Chemistry & English Literature from McGill University.
Yasmeen is a multidisciplinary consultant working across an international portfolio of strategy, research, and evaluation projects.
